After 21 years we've grown too big for just one school
After 21 years in the education industry, we were too big for just one school, so we had to grow.
Our reputation for being a leading provider of quality education meant that we were receiving many requests for courses in streams other than hospitality such as business and management that had our signature quality work placement. Prospective students were seeing the benefits of a smaller private educator with small classrooms and great industry contacts.
In response to these requests we’ve developed some exciting new programs but we realised that we couldn’t launch these courses under a hotel school banner and so the Australian School of Business & Management (ASBM) was born.
At the same time we decided to create a school solely devoted to the culinary arts, the Australian School of Culinary Arts (ASCA) whilst keeping our premier hotel school the Australian School of Tourism & Hotel Management (ASTHM). With other schools in the pipeline specialising in Accounting & Finance and Graphic Design we knew we had to brand these schools under one banner.
The Australian College of Applied Education (ACAE) has come from this branding process with each of the schools to be divisions incorporated under the college. Our new name ACAE says everything you need to know about us. We are a college who’s primary focus is vocational or applied education.
