Stuart has been teaching English Language at AELC over the last two years. He does not regard this as his job or career, rather as his passion and source of enjoyment. To inspire students in a life-long love of learning, and to show that students can do anything they believe in, has always been his aim throughout the 13 years that he has been teaching ESL.
He brings experience and qualifications to the College, ranging from TEFL Certification and prior roles as an academic coordinator, to a Bachelor of Science, Rehabilitation Therapy, hospitality and restaurant service experience, further Education studies, as well as extensive adventure travel to many parts of the world.
He has ambitions to cycle extensively within every continent, and to complete an unfinished project of scaling Muztagh Ata, a mountain in the western Chinese region of Xinjiang. In the meantime, enjoying his family and his recent return to athletics (400m and 800m track racing) keep him busy, fit and motivated.
