Sanjay is the Senior Lecturer in the Commercial Cookery Department. He has completed his training in Mauritius, where he was born, and is Bilingual (English/ French).
Before moving to Australia Sanjay was in the position as Executive Chef at the Galawa Beach Hotel and Casino in the Comores Island and Sugar beach Hotel in Mauritius and has also worked for the opening on Sun City in South Africa and at the Penta Hotel in Switzerland. Sanjay also worked at the Perth Parmelia Hilton. Sanjay is ACAE's resident celebrity as he has been in cooking programs on television.
Since he moved to Australia in 2001 he joined the Australian College of Applied Education first as a student studying Commercial Cookert and Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, then as a lecturer.
Sanjay has been representing ACAE in many of the Salon Culinnaire competitions with commercial cookery students for the Oceana fest. In July 2008 Sanjay was the organizer for the school in house cooking competition.
In his spare time Sanjay enjoys cooking for family and friends and spending time with his wife and daughter.
