Nikki recently joined ACAE with a wealth of experience in training and hospitality.  Nikki has held roles including National Project Manager with an RTO who trained staff from multiple industry partners including Grill'd.  She has also trained staff from Jamie’s Italian, Quest Apartments and Pensione Hotel through a Certificate III & IV in Hospitality. In industry Nikki has worked as an Operations Manager of a multi-venue business that included; cafes, a restaurant and a catering business at Curtain university. She found herself in operational roles with FitChips and Metro City Concert Club, and in training focused roles such as;  Training & Development Manager for the Aroma café franchise and as a software trainer of hospitality programs for H&L Australia.

Nikki has managed various cafes throughout Australia and her career starting point was as a bar attendant & waitress at the boutique hotel Chifley on the Terrance and in the busiest Irish pub in Perth, JB O’Reilly’s.

Nikki's love for the hospitality industry and training became evident when she had opportunities to develop staff to their highest potential. In the last few years her career pathway has led her to gain extensive experience in business, leadership and VET training and assessment. Nikki is passionate about delivering hands-on training that students respect, and fully engage with.  She loves woeking in a position that allows her to share her knowledge of the industry and develop training to improve the skills and knowledge of students looking to make their mark in the hospitality industry.

Nikki holds a Certificate IV in Hospitality Operations and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Outside of work Nikki enjoys attending summer arts and food festivals with her family.  For the past 3 years she has managed and coached Women's Roller Derby teams.
