Jamie came to ACAE with a range of qualifications and vast experience as a Chef. He has been in the industry for over 22 years and has worked in fine dining, 5* Hotels, catering and brasseries and gastro pubs. Some notable positions in Chef Jamie's career have been; The Assembly Restaurant where he won best restaurant in the North West of England, Restaurant Verona where he won best restaurant in the eastern suburbs of Sydney for 2 years running, the Imperial Hotel in Torquay, England where he was integral to the hotel gaining a second rosette and The Old Rydon where he served all styles of cuisine and cooked for royalty, present and past Prime Ministers and A-list celebrities.
Chef Jamie's qualifications include; city and guilds 706 -1 - cookery for the catering industry, city and guilds 706 - 2 - Advanced cookery skills, city and guilds 707 - 6 - Restaurant Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He is also currently studying towards a Bachelor of Science in Health Safety and the Environment.
Outside of work Jamie enjoys travelling, a hobby that his job has helped him with.
