Oceanafest is a competition judging the culinary skills a wide range of chefs, cooks, students, apprentices and more. The Australian Culinary Federation of Western Australia staged the 2015 Oceanafest event. Competitors came from Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Kuwait and Hong Kong for the chance to win prestigious titles.
Four teams of students represented ACAE in the Training Provider section and student Muan Hang represented us in the dessert section. Many of our culinary tutors also entered the competition with cold dishes and cakes.
First of all we would like to congratulate all the students who took part, students went above and beyond the requirements of their courses and used personal time to prepare for the competition. Everyones effort payed off and you did everyone at ACAE proud. We would also like to thank and congratulate our trainers who took time out of their personal time to coach and mentor students. Many of the trainers also entered into the competition and came away with medals and prizes, well done.

We would like to congratulate our students and staff again. We would also like to thank everyone who attended our Breakfast Buffet and our Street Food Buffet as the proceeds of these events went towards supporting the students at the Oceanafest.
